Percorso che ricalca la ex ferrovia da Bagnolo in Piano a Correggio e oltre fino alla stazione FS Carpi. Si attraversa il centro di Correggio con una digressione dal tracciato ferroviario che si riprende successivamente. Nella parte più a est il tracciato attraversa una densa zona produttiva. Il collegamento fino alla stazione di Carpi è tracciato su viabilità normale essendosi quasi perso il sedime ferroviario.
