Nürnberg - 5 Flüsse Radweg (Runde) ,300km, 2011-05-19...22

ultra - 2.5 days of wilderness and wandering. as soon as we left Franconia, things went really well, unfortunately the rain got us stuck in Hersbruck... many supermarkets prepping for camping in bergauf Etzelwang. found a perfect spot to spend the night, saw one of the most gigantic sunsets of May.

the next morning we continued to Amberg, only downhill. always nice along the river, skirted Regensburg and went shopping in Kelheim again. camping this time at a proper campground in Pillhausen on the Main-Danube Canal. advantage: proper shower =)

final stage after an amazing morning through the Altmühltal there were delays from Berching (lunch and a flat tire) again due to the rain. luckily just after Mühlhausen found an empty holiday home right by the canal. after one last uphill ride to Neumarkt, it was 10 km steadily downhill to Nuremberg. well-deserved and super dirty upon arrival ;)
