Thurmansbang - Ilztal - Ettlmühle + zurück

Beautiful paths and trails accompany us on this round, leading us down into the dreamy Ilztal. Along the Ilz we follow the signposting to Ettlmühle, cross the Ilz there, and use the existing forest roads that take us up to the B85. On the opposite side, we choose the forest road that takes us through a beautiful valley. It steadily goes uphill again to the parking lot just before Gumpenreit. The path quickly leads down to the Ödseen, and on asphalted roads, we reach the village of Platten. We turn towards Hundsruck and soon leave the road again to immerse ourselves in the protective forest, which only lets us go after a steep climb right at the chapel 'Maria auf der Rast'. Now it quickly goes down to Thurmansbang, our starting point.
