A scenic route to the forests West of Sandy.

Cycle through the countryside through places like Ireland. Route is comprised of cycleways, roads and Bridleways (1/3 of the route). Even a new barely marked bridleway after the wind turbines. Suitable for city bikes with wider tyres on dry days.

A scenic and picturesque ride to the very pretty historical village of Much Hadham. Nearing Puckeridge you will need to cross the dual carriageway, there is a path and a wooden bannister over the road.

Cycle through the hilly countryside on bridleways, byways, cycleways, and roads. All the way up to MIllbrook and then return via Wrest Park. Millbrook bridleway is NOT for novices; Bikes with bad brakes, thin tyres, and/or no low gears will struggle.

Enjoy the single lane country roads towards Wenden Ambo. **After Duddenhoe, on the Public Bridleway - be careful on the track for 50metres of mega potholes. But after that it is all asphalt.

Cycle through few scenic villages and hilly countryside. Cycle through Bedford central park next to rivers and lakes. Continue to cycle back through forest tracks, up Milbrook, and further scenic villages.

Conquer the killer ascents along this scenic route to Ashridge Forest and back. Take care on Coles lane there is loose gravel on the blind corners of the road. There are also some muddy bits on byways on route, but I managed to get by on my road bike.
