Nationalpark Bike Marathon
A collection of 5 cycling routes.A collection of marathon routes around the National Park – ideal if you enjoy long days in the saddle. The character: mostly gravel and forest roads, with quiet roads in between, only very short sections on busier roads and almost no singletrack. It's less technical but physically demanding: long climbs, fast descents, and lots of nature.
MTB is the best choice; a sturdy gravel bike (wide tires, low gears) can also work depending on skill level. Road bike less so. Entry points are flexible, and the variants combine well – perfect for a big loop or multiple stages.
What to bring: enough water and snacks, pump/multitool, and a layer against wind/weather. Check ahead for possible closures and the National Park rules – special care for wildlife and trail regulations applies here.
In short: If you love gravel and collecting elevation, you'll find plenty of scenery, quiet paths, and true marathon flow here.
