By bicycle from Radeberg to Albertstadt

This scenic cycling route starts in the charming town of Radeberg, known for its famous Radeberger beer. You’ll head southwest, rolling through forest tracks and peaceful gravel paths for much of the journey—so bring a sturdy bike! The route clocks in at just over 19 km, with a gentle net descent, so you’ll enjoy a few speedy sections, especially as you leave the higher elevations near Radeberg.

Most of the trail is on unpaved tracks—in fact, about 70% is on forest or field tracks and gravel, making for a quiet escape from traffic. You’ll weave through lush Saxon countryside, passing by tucked-away streams and wooded areas. About a quarter of the surfaces are paved, so it’s not all off-road, and the scenery keeps things interesting.
