Cycling day trip from Piņķi to Riga

This relaxed cycling route connects Piņķi, a peaceful suburban area just outside of Riga, to the lively city center of Latvia’s capital. Starting in Piņķi, you’ll enjoy the wide-open feel of the countryside, with gentle inclines and plenty of fresh air. The route is about 25 km, mostly on paved roads and cycleways—perfect for a casual ride or a scenic commute.

As you roll toward Riga, you'll pass through quiet neighborhoods and some stretches of traffic, but most of your ride sticks to friendly cycle paths. The landscape is pretty flat, with just a couple of very gentle climbs—easy for all fitness levels.
