Overall, it's a hilly route where you also ride through beautiful river valleys.

From Mariánské Lázně, it goes through a lovely hilly forest landscape. The road could be a bit better, but it goes uphill.

Before Loket, you go into a beautiful valley to this town with its impressive castle. You should definitely pass through the town, even if it is a cobblestone street. This cannot be represented on the plan. Before Loket, do not follow the route, but turn left and then cross the bridge into the town. You cannot pass through by car, but you can by bike.

From Bozicany to Nejdek, the road is partly in a very dilapidated condition (about 2 km). It is somewhat borderline for a racing bike. However, most of the route has good pavement, and above all the beautiful scenery makes up for the bad stretch of road. Alternatively, just follow the signs to Nejdek.

After Nejdek, there is a long climb to Horni Blatna. The road here is also not particularly good.

In Markneukirchen, it seems you take a detour. It would be shorter via Erlbach and Eubabrunn, but after Wernitzgrün, there is a very steep climb on this route. Via Markneukirchen, the climb is a bit more moderate (10 %).

In the Czech Republic, you then ride towards Luby and continue on very nice roads.

After Skalna heading towards Eger, you can eat well and cheaply at the Steinhof restaurant in Novy Drahov.

From Eger, there would also be a bike path to Waldsassen, you just have to find it.

Overall, it's a strenuous but very beautiful tour.
