Sfruttando il comodo servizio bici bus Udine-Grado è possibile raggiungere in circa mezz’ora Palmanova e da qui iniziare un viaggio alla scoperta delle due città UNESCO situate lungo la ciclovia Alpe Adria, nei pressi di Grado, Palmanova appunto e Aquileia. Dalla fermata del bus potete effettuare un tratto di itinerario ciclabile lungo i bastioni per poi entrare in città e visitare il Museo della Grande Guerra e della Fortezza di Palmanova e la Piazza Grande. I week end è possibile effettuare una vista alle gallerie Veneziane del Rivellino e Baluardo Donato (www.tiny.cc/galleriepalmanova). Uscendo dalla città stellata, si prende la FVG 1 in direzione Grado. All'altezza di Terzo di Aquileia, consigliamo una deviazione verso le località Salmastro e Ponte Rosso, per poi arrivare ad Aquileia dove visitare il Sepolcreto, il Foro Romano, il Decumano, il Porto Fluviale, la Domus di Tito Macro, il Palazzo Episcopale e la Basilica con il cicmitero degli Eroi. Presso le aree archeologiche la bici va portata a mano. Riprendendo la FVG 1 si rientra a Grado. Ciascun ciclista pedala sotto la propria esclusiva responsabilità e a proprio rischio e pericolo.

GIORNO/PERIODO CONSIGLIATO: il bici bus Grado-Udine  è attivo da aprile a settembre il sabato, la domenica e i festivi; tutti i giorni a luglio e agosto; partenza da Grado ore 10.30 e 15.00. Gli orari dei mezzi di trasporto potrebbero subire variazioni. Durch den praktischen BiciBus Udine-Grado ist man in etwa dreißig Minuten in Palmanova, und kann von hier aus eine Entdeckungsreise zu den beiden UNESCO-Städten am Alpe-Adria-Radweg bei Grado, Palmanova und Aquileia, unternehmen. Von der Bushaltestelle aus kann man ein Stück des Radwegs entlang der Stadtmauer fahren und dann in die Stadt hineinfahren, um das Museum des Großen Krieges, die Festung von Palmanova und die Piazza Grande zu besuchen. An den Wochenenden können Sie die venezianischen Galerien Rivellino und Baluardo Donato besuchen (www.tiny.cc/galleriepalmanova). Verlassen Sie die Sternenstadt und nehmen Sie die FVG 1 in Richtung Grado. Auf der Höhe von Terzo di Aquileia empfehlen wir einen Abstecher zu den Ortschaften Salmastro und Ponte Rosso, um dann in Aquileia anzukommen, wo man den Sepolcreto, das Forum Romanum, den Decumanus, den Flusshafen, das Domus di Tito Macro, den Bischofspalast und die Basilika mit dem "Cimitero degli Eroi" besichtigen kann. In den archäologischen Stätten muss das Fahrrad geschoben werden. Wir nehmen wieder die FVG 1 und fahren zurück nach Grado. Jeder Radfahrer radelt auf eigene Verantwortung und auf eigenes Risiko.

By using the efficient bike- bus service Udine/Grado, in half an hour you get to Palmanova; from here, you can start your journey to discover the two UNESCO cities located along the Alpe Adria cycle route near Grado, Palmanova and Aquileia. From the bus stop you can take a section of the cycle route along the ramparts and then enter the town and visit the Great War Museum and the Fortress of Palmanova and Piazza Grande.
