Transnevada (Stage 6 / 8)

Stage 6 of Transnevada links Soportújar to Juviles through the Alpujarra’s high slopes. Expect a big day: about 48 km with roughly 2,100 m of climbing and a max around 1,800 m. The route mixes quiet roads, gravel tracks and some paths, so wide tires help. Soportújar’s whitewashed lanes fade into pine and scrub before rolling to the small, peaceful village of Juviles. Pack water and sun protection—exposed stretches are common in summer.
