Although D81 and D172 are major roads, they have little traffic. And in and near Albi, D81 has bike lane or good shoulder. This is also true for parts of D100. The other roads are all excellent low-traffic roads for the most part. D138, D79 and C10 Route de Fabas were particularly good small roads, the latter two having steep downhills (or uphills if you reverse direction).
