About This Route

This route starts/ends at historic Pen Mar park.  It is a pretty littletrip that goes by Catoctin Mountain Park - the location of Camp David the president's retreat.

 

Terrain - Hilly with some nice long climbs and steep drops.  Make sure you got good legs and good brakes.  Lots of trees and a few good stream stops to take breaks at.

 

Traffic - Traffic in this area is pretty minimal, but the shoulders are small so be careful.
