La bellissima Cividale del Friuli.

A route immersed in the tranquil Friulian countryside at the foot of the Eastern Alps. The itinerary starts and ends at the Hotel Ristorante Elliot, on the road connecting Manzano and Orsaria. After getting on our bikes, we continue north towards Cividale del Friuli. Upon reaching Premariacco, we cross the beautiful Roman bridge over the Natisone River. We proceed towards Casali Potocco and, having reached Casali Braide, we take the direction of Cividale del Friuli. Arriving in Gagliano, we go on to Fornalis, crossing narrow country lanes surrounded by vineyards. Once in Cividale, after crossing the famous Devil's Bridge, we park the bikes and enjoy the Longobard history and culture of this Friulian town, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After visiting Cividale and its beauties, we get back on our bikes and, after crossing the new bridge, turn left towards Firmano and Premariacco before continuing towards Buttrio and its hills. Taking the slightly uphill Via Rieppi, we reach the top of the hill. Here, we take a white road that leads us back to the Hotel Ristorante Elliot. The route is about 33 km long and has a minimal elevation gain and low difficulty. It is manageable by families in total relaxation.
