Start at the parking lot by the lake. The bike path takes us gently to Consdorf with a slight incline. Caution when crossing the N10 road! Before we cross the road in Scheidgen, we wait for the whole group to be present. We continue along the bike path to Wolper, through the underpass (Attention, keep right) and further towards Bech. At the first marked hiking trail, we leave the bike path to the left and thus leave the asphalt as well. From now on we must skillfully maneuver our bikes over roots, stones, through leaves and mud. Participants should not ride too closely together. At some points, it is advisable to dismount and push for a few meters. Before we cross the Michelshof-Bech road, we wait until the group is gathered again. We follow the road a short way to the left, then steeply turn up into the first asphalted path to the right. After we have turned left again, we follow the path through meadows and fields. After a right-angled turn to the left, we leave the asphalt to the right and ride steeply down. Watch for possible tractor tracks! Upon reaching a small road, we continue left, passing Geyershof. At a parking lot, the asphalt ends and a wide sandy path leads us up into the forest. We turn left and keep climbing until we reach the highest point of the route. There we turn diagonally left and soon reach the refreshment station. After this well-deserved break, we return to the main path we had left earlier. We follow it to the left. After a short downhill section, we turn to the right. We stay on the path that leads above Fromburg through the woods. A slightly longer descent through the forest follows. Shortly after a path joins from the left, we turn right onto a narrow marked hiking trail. On it, we gain some more altitude before the final descent to Echternach Lake begins. Our destination, the parking lot, is not far off.
