Elmwanderung 01

The hike begins at Singplatz in Elm. From here, we proceed along a beautiful path along the Elmrand. Passing the Waldfrieden inn and the Hexentreppe, we go uphill along a root path until we turn right onto the road from Goldquelle. This leads us to the Karl May Valley. Here is the opportunity to eat the provisions from the backpack. After the break, we continue a short distance towards the Elm Autostraße. The path runs to the left of the road. Upon reaching the edge of the forest, one can walk a short distance to the right to the Elm Auto Street, where there is a memorial stone for the Elm Auto Street and a marvelous view of Schöningen and its surroundings. A narrow hiking trail leads us past Toni's Rest, the Elmhaus inn, back to our starting point at Singplatz.
