About This Route

Der Alfterer-Bornheimer Bach (früher Roisdorfer-Bornheimer Bach) entspringt in Alfter als Mirbach und wechselt im weiteren Verlauf  mehrfach den Namen: er wird zum Görresbach, Roisdorfer Bach und Bornheimer Bach. Früher versickerte er in der Feldflur unterhalb von Bornheim, bis er Anfang der 1930er Jahre mit einer 1,8 km langen Verrohrung einen Ablauf in den Rhein erhielt.
