Puget Theniers - Col des Champs - Colmars

From Puget Theniers via the Col de Valberg and Col des Champs to Colmars. First along the D 6202 beside the Var. Before Touet sur Var, left onto the D 28 through the very beautiful, partially narrow Cians gorge over Beuil to the Col de Valberg. Descent on the D 28 to Guillaumes in the Var valley. Continue on the D 2202 towards the Col de la Cayolle. In St. Martin d'Entraunes left on D 78 to the Col des Champs. The ascent to the Col des Champs is well-built; the descent to Colmars is narrow in places. The road is often crossed by wide rain gutters. The pavement, especially in the upper part, is not the best.
