Von Oberstdorf-Nebelhornbahn aus durch den Ort Richtung Gasthaus Waldesruh. Hinauf auf Schotter zum Gasthaus Bergkristall. Entlang des Edmund-Probst-Weges Richtung Freibergsee und weiter zur Skiflugschanze. Entlang des Dr.-Reh-Weges vorbei am Seeblick und dann runter über den Grundbachweg Richtung Ziegelbach. Hier wird es steil!. Über das Karatsbichl zurück nach Oberstdorf.
