24/10/2015: Sentiero dei Principi

After reading about it on the web, I was curious to try it. On October 12, I went up to Modoprato and there I met a "native" MTbiker, with whom I continued the tour. Acting as a Cicerone, we climbed the Ps2 up to Prese Rossi (cool, exposed but it must be beautiful to do downhill and not for nothing do they pass there for the ENDURO DELLE STREGHE! ;-) From here, we first went down to Passo Braida and then turned towards Sacra San Michele; but surprise... not via the asphalted road, but taking a nice path that leads to Borgata Basinatto and from there you can get to the Sacra. After a short break, we took the famous Sentiero dei Principi: besides the fun, the view from here is priceless, just a shame about the haze that covered the valley. In Mortera, we climbed back to Case Mastropietro to then return on the SP188 in the Combravino area, making it easier for both to get back home.
