The itinerary starts from the Church of San Pietro al Natisone and continues towards Cividale del Friuli. At Ponte San Quirino, take the road on the left that follows the Natisone River. After a slight descent and an ascent of about two hundred meters, take the white road on the right that runs alongside the river, and following the signs, it brings us near the hospital of Cividale del Friuli. From here, we proceed towards the center of the Lombard town, crossing the famous Devil's Bridge. From the center of Cividale, we go down to Borgo Brossana and following a beautiful country road, we arrive at Sanguarzo. From here, following the state road, we arrive at Ponte San Quirino and take the road for Vernasso that runs alongside the river until Tarcetta and Pulfero. We resume the state road heading south until Ponteacco where we take the bike path to return to San Pietro al Natisone.
