2016 Ride Day 113 - Réquista to Gaillac

The first part of the ride from Réquista into Albi and then to Marssac-sur-Tarn was excellent with low traffic and nice roads, except for inside and close to Albi where there of course was some traffic. D988 west from Marssac to Gaillac has terrible traffic and little or no shoulder. We should avoid it... (To my memory, this is the third time we've ridden this stretch. We're not so smart.) It is, though, a good way to head west fast as the road is flat and pretty much straight as an arrow.

We passed from the Aveyron into the Tarn Department.

For those who haven't visited Albi, we highly recommend it for its Cathedral, the Tarn, and its many things to see.
