Sarnano-Amandola-Comunanza-Venarotta

6th stage of the coast to coast MTB from Orbetello to Porto d'Ascoli. From Foligno, part of the route follows the Way of Saint Francis of the Marca, with some modifications to make it more suitable for a cycling trip.

From Sarnano, you reach Amandola, then Comunanza, alternating dirt sections with back roads. Now you reach Palmiano and, finally, with a steep and challenging descent, you arrive at Venarotta (the descent can be avoided by taking the SP 93). From the center of Venarotta, you take Via del Castello, passing near the castle and arriving at the Ostello San Francesco.

NOTE: in this stage, several variants (all of which are passable by trained individuals on MTB) have been made to the Franciscan Way.
