The route leads into the Ore Mountains to Altenberg, Neuhermsdorf, Holzhau, Rechenberg-Bienenmühle, to the Rauschenbach dam. Up to this point, we have already left behind the steepest incline of the tour with 18%. We continue over Neuhausen, to Deutscheinsiedel, where the Schwartenberg must be climbed; the ascent is about 5 km long and has an average incline of 10%. We cross the border without passport control into the neighboring European country of the Czech Republic and continue to the Flaje dam; on the way there, one can wonderfully look at the steep southern slope of the Ore Mountains into the Bohemian Basin. The Ore Mountain ridge on the entire Czech side is sparsely populated, and one is sometimes glad to reach a small housing estate along the way. From the Flaje dam, with a wonderful panorama from the dam wall, we continue towards Zinnwald over Nove Mesto. East of Zinwald, just before Fojtovice (Voitzdorf), one reaches the pedestrian crossing Fürstenau; crossing it rolls more or less relaxed back towards home....
