About this route
Schöne Familienstrecke / Die Strecke führt Sie übers „Wederather Kreuz“ durch schattigen Wald nach Vicus Belginum. Hier können Sie das Museum besuchen und die herrliche Fernsicht bis in die Eifel genießen. Anschließend verläuft die Strecke durch den Wald über Hochscheid, Zolleiche, Hinzerath. Nach einer Fahrt durch Wiesen und Felder wird die Burgruine Baldenau erreicht. Diese einzigartige Wasserburg des Hunsrücks lädt zum Verweilen ein. Weiter geht es über Hundheim zum Freundschaftsweg HUGO zurück nach Gonzerath. Bis auf den Anstieg am Beginn, sind auf dieser Fahrradstrecke nur einige Höhenmeter zu bewältigen. Desweiteren bietet diese Tour mit Belginum und Burg Baldenau interessante Stopps, auch für Kinder.
