Aisttal - Reichenstein Runde

Just crossing the intersecting road and right past the GH Populorum, follow the signs. Turn left to the Fatimagrottte and continue via forest and dirt roads as well as side streets, turning right at Wieserkapelle, you will bypass Haidberg on the right and finally reach the state road L1415. Here turn left and before the Aist bridge turn left again and immediately right. Once again on the state road and the tour destination is reached after 1 hour of travel time, the Reichenstein castle ruin from the 13th century.</p> <p>The ruin is open for visitation. There is an opportunity to eat at the Hoftaverne.</p> <p>After a refreshment, the way goes across the Aist left on an extremely steep forest path with a grueling ascent of 60 hm and another 40 hm. By following various surfaces and the signs, you will reach Bad Zell via Erdleiten.</p> <p>A small optional detour will take you to the 'Hedwigsbründl' and then after a short ascent a final short trail down until the starting point is reached again after 45 minutes of riding time.</p> <p>Total (net) riding time: 2:10 hours</p> <p>ascending hm: approx. 700 (the ones provided by .bikenet are incorrect)</p>
